Background
On the Move was formed in 1998 and since then, missions have been organised in 26 countries, on all five continents. In the UK alone, where OTM started, 159 missions have been undertaken, directly involving over 23,000 team members from about 1,800 participating churches. Over 400,000 members of the public have been fed in free barbecues in the UK. In 2005, missions were undertaken in 23 of the main capital cities of the world.
The ministry is co-ordinated from a small centre in Birmingham, England. On the Move ministries exist in many countries and the leaders of these come together for friendship and fellowship, periodically. In the UK, there are now nine regional centres that serve the country.
