If you would like to pray for OTMI, and receive notification of forthcoming missions or other prayer needs – and also reports of what actually happened – please email us on martin@onthemoveinternational.org  and we will add you to the distribution list.  Typically, there are a dozen or so prayer prompts and/or reports per annum. 

We believe that God is looking to the UK to provide a lead to the nations.  We believe we are acting on behalf of our country, as well as in the plans of God, as we seek to serve the nations.  That means that we need very much to be in touch with our UK base – prayed for, funded and staffed with volunteers from UK churches, which want to be a blessing to the nations.  That is a specific part of the call to “arise and shine” for the UK – and a specific part of the promise that God’s glory will rise upon us as we do so!

We believe our role is to serve the nations.  About once every 18 months, we gather OTM leaders from around the world to spend a week or so together in fellowship, seeking the Lord together and re-stoking the fire in each other!  We also respond to invitations from the national leaders we are working with in over 20 countries to bring a team and support them in mission, often in taking the mission to a third country.  Thus, we are helping the Ugandans take it to the Sudan and (we hope) the Egyptians to take it to Israel.

We believe the Lord said to us that, just as Jesus devoted himself to 12 disciples and they then shook the earth, we should devote ourselves to the people God has given us in all these countries and that “they will again shake the earth!”  May it be so, Lord, and in our day!
